Yves Rocher Cleansing Water Face and Eyes (Makeup Remover) Review!

I've been desperate to blog about this product as I think it is something people may not have heard of it and I think its amazing!

It is a makeup remover called 'Pur Bleuet Cleansing Water Face and Eyes' by Yves Rocher, a brand I discovered after receiving a perfume sample in a Glossybox a few months back.

Yves Rocher is a French brand that pride themselves in their natural beauty products and are very decently priced too. They always have offers and promotions of 'free gifts' and the gifts are very generous too. You can buy this product online (currently half price) HERE .

This cleansing 'water' is actually a light gel which is incredibly refreshing on the skin. You just squeeze a pea sized amount onto a cotton pad and sweep all over your face and eyelids to remove stubborn makeup, no need to rinse either, couldn't get easier! I usually remove my makeup with a makeup wipe then use this after and can never believe how much the wipe failed to remove!
This cleansing water is 200ml and you only have the use the tiniest bit so well worth the £7 price tag, but as I mentioned earlier it is currently half price so grab yourselves a bargain! :)
It is also paraben and perfume free and suitable for sensitive eyes and skin - a great product all round.
What makeup removers do you find most effective?

My Current Favourite Mascara - Yves Saint Laurent Volume Effect Faux Cils

I have got to share this mascara with you! It is my absolute favourite and believe me, I've tried many. I have been using this mascara for months and just can't get enough of it.

It is called 'Volume Effect Faux Cils' and it is by Yves Saint Laurent. A lot of you have probably already heard of it, but you have just got to try it out for yourselves, it works wonders! It retails at around £23.50 and you can buy it from Boots HERE in a variety of shades, I always just go for black though! It is quite pricey, but worth every penny.

It doesn't clump and in just a couple of strokes you can have gorgeous long lashes.

Here's what my eyelashes look like without any mascara.

Here, after literally probably 10-15 strokes you can see I have created extra long lashes without any clumping!

The difference is huge and I love this product so much, I haven't touched another mascara since!

What are your favourite mascaras? Thanks for reading!

Bargain Eyebrow Products From e.l.f!

Hello fellow beauty junkies!

Today, I am going to show you two of my favourite bargain products. Although they are both super cheap, they do exactly what I need them to do. The items I will be showing you are both from e.l.f and are both eyebrow products.

I never used to bother with my eyebrows, just plucked them every couple of weeks but  they were mostly just left to their own devices! I have really fair eyebrows and have tried quite a few pencils and gels to get them to stand out a bit but have never really got the desired effect. These items however are perfect! :)

The first product is the 'e.l.f Wet Gloss Lash & Brow Clear Mascara' and in my opinion is an absolute steal at £1.50! I haven't actually used the lash end, but the brow end is amazing. It just sets the eyebrows and tames any stray hairs without looking shiny (I sometimes find this with eyebrow waxes).

The second product is the 'e.l.f Studio Eyebrow Kit' it retails at £3.75 and lasts forever! There are four shades available; light, medium, dark and ash. It comes in a little black compact and inside is a mirror (extremely handy), a brow gel, brow powder and a dual brush applicator. I only use the gel and the angled end of the brush to achieve the look I want.

On the left: what my eyebrows look like without any product on.
On the right: both products on - you can see the difference is subtle but so much neater!

Thanks for reading! You can find the products shown here: brow mascara & eyebrow kit :)

Also, e.l.f pretty much always have offers and discounts available (sometimes 50% off everything online) so make sure you take full advantage of them!

The first post!

Hello, my name is Emily. I am 20 years old from Hertfordshire, England and I am a self confessed beauty junkie.

This is a very bad quality photo of me, but it is one of the most recent ones I have :)

I have created this blog to ramble to anyone willing to listen about all things beauty and possibly some other things along the way too. I am a bit obsessed with getting good deals and offers in the world of beauty, so I will definitely post all my bargain finds for everyone to take advantage of!
I named this blog ‘Freckles and Flaws’ as I am one of many women that has those so called ‘kisses from the sun’ that inhabit my face, also known as freckles! Now, I have no problem with my freckles but the reason I have mentioned them is because, after stalking beauty blogs for the past year, I’ve come to find that most of the women posting have beautiful, flawless skin (even with close up pictures from these amazing high tech cameras)! If I took a close up photo, even on my iPhone, you would be greeted with freckled, blemished and extremely pale (verging on translucent) skin! This blog is hopefully going to help women of all skin types and colours but if you are like me and have the palest skin going, you’ll know how hard it is to find suitable makeup, so this will be of particular help to all the pale girls reading this!
Makeup is something I am completely mad about, my family and fiancĂ©e think its an unhealthy obsession, haha. Skincare is also really important to me and I will definitely be reviewing and discussing plenty of skincare products. I have a bit of a ‘thing’ for samples, so I currently have a huge box of sample size skin care products that I need to work my way through! Another addiction of mine is nail polishes and nail care, so expect to see a lot of posts and reviews on nail products!

Anyway, this is just a little insight into me and what this blog is going to contain. :)
Thanks to anyone that reads this and the next post will most likely be a review on a product to get things started!
